The two primary objectives set by the English Translation and Interpreting Department are training skilled cultural mediators and high quality education. The courses offered aim at cultivating the necessary competence for translation and language services. Other than extensive mandatory French language and culture education the language strand comprises a wide choice of optional foreign languages and cultures offered by our School of Foreign Languages, the first one in Turkey to qualify with international accreditation.

In accordance with our goal of high standards and perfection, our department accepts 30 students each year to create the optimal classroom environment. Project based studies are featured in our classes for the self improvement of our students providing up-to-date expert training to the future translators-to be.
